Kalna Hospital is an ‘A’ Group Hospital and is treated as a First class Hospital now a day.

Guest House
Panthonir is a name of repute in the field of providing Boarding & Lodging at Kalna. Besides, many hotels and some Guesthouses have also been serving people in this respect. Panthonir provides Dormitory also. This Guest House has been constructed with the initiative of Kalna Municipality under I.D.S.M.T. Scheme. It was established 03/01/96, inaugurated by Mr. Ashok Bhattacharyya(Municipal Minister). Rate of charges: Single Bed- Rs. 40/- Double Bed- Rs.60/- Dormitory- Rs. 30/- Per Head A.C.- 1-Rs. 400/-
Ganga Action Plan
The Ganges’ bank has been made concrete to resist flood. Besides, many renovating works have already been performed though some are under construction.
New Bus Stand
Kalna new Bus-stand, which is going to be constructed near Baidyapur Junction, is now under construction
SBSTC Bus Stand
SBSTC Govt. Bus service is an additional advantage to the people belonging to Kalna sub-division. The SBSTC Bus-stand is located closed to the Fire Brigade station.

Every civilized society’s improvement can be measured with the foot-stick of education. Library is the principal means of developing the value of education. Men belonging to Kalna sub-division are too fortunate to have a sub-division library with voluminous capacity at Kalna just opposite to Kalna College.
Purashri
Purashri is a renowned cultural Hall, which exists opposite to Kalna Municipality. It is a traditional hall or Manch, which serves the people to organize many Drama, Meeting, Conference etc.

BSKP has been applied in many fields to remove unemployment problem and provide relief to the poverty-stricken people from economic distress with the financial assistance of Youth Service Department Govt. of West Bengal.

Deaf & Dumb School
There is a school for physically handicpped like dumb and deaf at Baidya pur near Baidyapur Ramkrishng Bidyapith. It was started by the N.G.O (Baidyapur Bikash Bharati Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra) in the year 1993. It was recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal (Mass Education Extension Department ). It was sponsored on 2000.
