Paised on a high podium this temple is a good specimen of the 19^th century rekha deul with curvilinear sikara and single apched entrance. A roofless brick-built Rasmancha stands nearby.

           Being the oldest in group this brick built Panchavimsati. Ratna temple was erected in 1739 A.D within an enclosed compound. There is a mountain like temple known as Giri Govardhana Temple inside. The racades of the temple are also decorated with rich terracotta ornamentation.

           This magnificent brick-built panchabim Sati-Ratna Temple with an elongated chala type verandah in front having three arched entraces and furnished with terracotta plaques was constructed in 1751-55 ad. Its racades are also embellished with terractta plaques.

          Once Mahaprabhu had a trip to Kalna by boat. He sailed himself. The scull has been kept at Kalna and all devouts still worship it. The manuscripts of Punthi composed by Mahaprabhu still exist in Mahaprabhu Temple. This holy Temple is taken for one of the best pilgrim’s destination of the Vaishnav.

           The old name of Kalna is Ambika. It was entitled after the name of Goddess Ambika Siddheswari. In the year 688 A.D, it was established by Rishi-Amburish. First time the Goddess was worshipped through the ritual of earthen-pot (ghatt). The ghatt sticks to a stone winnowing tray. This auspicious image is made of a single Neem log. This image represents the Bamakali Idol. The responsibility of this Goddess was shouldered on the part of -1.Sri Taraprassana Adhikari, 2. Kaliprassana Adhikari and now, the 7th generation persionality Sri Sonatan Adhikari is the priest of this Temple. Long ago scarifies of human to the altar of the Temple was in vogue. But at present he-goat, ram, sugarcane, gourd etc. take the place of human. The Goddess is worshipped during the new moon in the month of Kartick.

           One of the great pilgrimages at Kalna is Naambrahma’s Temple. The great sadhak, Bhagaban Das Babaji, who had attained divine grace through austere religious practice, installed the idol of “Naambrahma”. From hearsay-Once when he was absorbed in meditation, the-then Maharaj of Burdwan arrived at his dwelling place. Bhabagan Das Babaji began shouting- please chase him, please chase him. Maharaja took it for an insultation to him. At this Maharaja began about to leave the Temple. Just then, Bhagaban Das Babaji welcomed the Maharaja with all his politeness, the king was surprised. Later, Bhagaban Das Babaji himself revealed the truth and said to the Maharaj, he was just chasing the goat who was champing the Tulsi plant at Brindavana. After ward, the incident was proved true.

                Pashan Tala is interlinked with hearsay. The hearsay has been handed down from generation to generation. This 170 years old adorable place is very attractive and respected to the pilgrims or citizen of Kalna and its surroundings areas. It reveals, three daughters of a priest while coming back to their shelter after taking bath, was chased by some miscreants who were willing to spoil their chastity. They gradually were converted in to stone after they prayed to god. Goddess Jaychandi is worshipped here, these days. 20 years back, when a man tried to dig the stone underground became mad. The worshipped takes place every last day of  Baishake.

        Bouddha Bihar exists at Amlapukur, Kalna. It was founded by Upendralal Barua, Ananga mohan Barua and Nirmal ch. Barua who were migrated from Bangladesh before the partition. It was about 15 years old and is now directed by joint effort. The Idol of this foundation was imported from Thailand.

           This Mosque of repute is founded about 200 years back. This Mosque is called Jamme Mosque. The founder of this Mosque is Khairuddin Majhi. It is an old traditional Mosque consisting with three domes. It is situated at Balirbazar, Kalna.

 This 100 years old sculptural construction was founded at Laxman Para alias Jabari Para. It has been bearing a historical tradition.

           It is a Church of North India situated at Kalna Japat. Its tradition and culture is so great that it has extended the Historical and cultural importance. It is approximately 100 years old. The people belonging to Christian community come to this Mission, every Sunday at 8 A.M. to pray to God.

           In 1783 A.D, this Grave Temple is situated close to the Grave Temple of Tejaschandra Bahadur, the husband of Maharani Kamalkumari the mother of Sri Mahatabchanda Bahadur. This has been existing at Jabani Para Kalna, nearest to the Kalna Municipality.

       This construction is now handed over to Kalna Mahis Mardini Institution School. Actually it was an assets setup by His excellency, the Maharaja of Burdwan. Actually it was meant for the private use of the then Queen.
